There is a crisis of biblical masculinity in the church and in culture. Men are being challenged to be more like women, and women are being challenged to be more like men. A lot of men don’t have a clear vision for masculinity. Some think it’s all about guns and big trucks, while others think it’s about weight rooms and having charm. Most men are wandering around asking the basic questions, “Am I a man?” or one just like it, “Do I have what it takes to be a man?” 

We invite the community men of Gainesville to Rise, a 7-week gathering of men each Thursday morning from 6:00-7:30, meeting from June 18 - July 31. Our short teachings and discussions will be centered around the content of Joby Martin’s book, “Stand Firm and Act Like Men”.
